Well, I had my suspicions that something was weird about him when I first got him, mainly because his box was battered, torn and crumpled, and the print work on the font & back of the box was blurry. Then, when I got him out of his box I noticed some things were very wrong, for example, he came with a stand that wasn't the same as all the other Play Arts stands and for some reason it slotted into one of his legs instead of around his waist. Then I noticed his gun didn't fit into his hand so by that time I was like 'WTF!?' so I decided to do some research on the fake Play Arts aka Bootlegs and found a figure comparison pic to look at which showed pictures of the official figure. I compared my Vincent to the one I saw in the image and knew it was fake because he just had too many differences - at first glance you'd think he looks like the normal figure, but when you look closer at the minute details you notice more of the faults that aren't on the official figure. Plus for some reason, whenever I touched the fake Vincent figure it made my hands itchy, and the paint smelt really strong.
